Former Mansfield News Journal reporter Kaitlin Durbin knew a little girl named Lizzy Myers would change the world. Her subsequent story led to the Myers family meeting the Pope and starting the Visual Bucket List Foundation.

The connection between Durbin and the Myers family will be featured in a CBS prime-time special called “The Gift: Kindness Goes Viral.”

It will air at 10 p.m. Dec. 28. on CBS stations and on Paramount+
